- Tenure: 3 years, with interest paid semi-annually
- Issue Amount: HK$50 billion, maximum HK$55 billion
- Subscription Requirement: Aged 60 (Born on or before December 31, 1967) and valid HKID holder
- SoFi Application Start Date: August 21, 2026 at 9:00 am
- SoFi Application Deadline: September 2, 2026 at 12:00 noon
- Issue Date: September 15, 2026
- Secondary Market: No secondary market available; will not be listed on any exchange. Investors may sell their Silver Bonds via SoFi Hong Kong back to the Government prior to maturity; the redemption amount will equal the principal sum plus any accrued interest.
What is a Silver Bond?
A Silver Bond is a fixed-income retail product issued by the HKSAR Government specifically designed for senior investors. Funds raised will be credited to the Capital Works Reserve Fund to support infrastructure developments while providing senior citizens with a safe, guaranteed, and high-yielding investment option.

- Review details and Offering Circular, then click [Apply]
- Select the quantity you would like to apply for, agree to the eIPO Terms of Use, and click [Confirm]
