Operations

What you’ll do:
Manage HK and US trade settlement and clearing work for Hong Kong exchanges and Clearing Ltd, and other exchanges.
Handle corporate actions, custodian services, cash management and IPO applications to the customers.
Coordinate work within company and between regulatory bodies
Lead team members on daily operations.
Report operational irregularities and recommend corrective actions to management.
Assist in Project and system implementation work.

What you’ll need:
Degree holder with min. 5 year’s working experience in Securities either local market or oversea markets.
Knowledge in CCASS and Custodian Management.
Relevant experience in handling exchange traded securities settlement operations.
Relevant experience in performing project and system testing.
Hard working, self-motivated and good sense of responsibility.
Good command of English and Chinese.

Technology

What you’ll do:
Direct influence/ownership on product features
Work with all stakeholders involved in the process across functions (IT, product, operations, compliance, sales and marketing)

Front end technologies
We build our apps (IOS and Android) with the latest version of React Native E2E tests with Detox Unit tests with Jest CI with Travis CD with Microsoft AppCenter Written in Typescript

Back end technologies
We use NodeJs (with Typescript) with GraphQl and a few Express routes
Our cloud provider is AWS
For CRM we use Salesforce Unit and Integration test with Jest (around 75% coverage)
CI/CD with Travis

What you’ll need:
Comfortable with React, React Native or NodeJs.
Self motivated
Good English communication

The following are a plus but not required:
Financial/brokerage background Typescript experience
GraphQL experience

What you’ll do:
End to end product life cycle involvement in the mobile app, global equity trading/settlement systems implementation.
Drive communication/coordination with project stakeholders, including vendors and internal parties on the new system implementation or customisations.
Gather user requirements, perform analysis and propose a system or operations solution to the business.
Prepare and execute the test plan, conduct system quality assurance on the new product/system implementation.
Support user acceptance test and user training.
Provide production support to the teams in HK and Asia Pacific region. Track issues until it is resolved.

Minimum 3 years of experience in project implementation in financial institutions.
Proficiency in English and Cantonese with excellent presentation skills.
Knowledge on OMS/Settlement Systems and database query.
Willing to travel when required.
Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines.
Self-motivated, open minded and a good team player.

What you’ll do:
Review CDD cases and relevant KYC documents;
Participate in the maturity of the Financial Intelligence Unit investigative and reporting capabilities;
Actively review inbound unusual activity alerts to determine whether further investigation is required;
Perform deep level analysis on activity requiring further investigation;
Prepare suspicious activity / transaction reports for filing to external FIU;
Provide advice to frontline and other relevant units on AML related matters;

What you’ll need:
At least 2 years of experience in AML functions in the securities brokerage industry.
Possess good knowledge of local regulatory (SFC) requirements.
Proficient in MS Excel & MS office and monitoring system such as Lexis/Nexis and NICE Actimize
Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese;
Analytical, independent, possession of good problem-solving skill;
Good communication skills and interpersonal skills;
