We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our Operations team in the brokerage business for Hong Kong and US market. The successful candidate will oversee and optimize operational processes, ensuring seamless execution while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the operations team, ensuring efficient, accurate, and smooth workflows across all settlement, clearing and corporate actions for Hong Kong and US equities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business units to execute operations in alignment with strategic objectives and company policies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and product developments to enhance operational knowledge and ensure compliance.
• Design and implement robust risk management and control frameworks, maintaining high-quality standards to deliver exceptional service.
• Coordinate with vendors and global team members to support and fulfil operational requests effectively.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and leverage system automation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive and support ad hoc projects aimed at optimizing operations and contributing to revenue growth.
We are looking for a strategic leader with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a track record of operational excellence.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in financial operations.
• At least 10 years of experience in brokerage operations, including a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, demonstrating proven expertise and leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of brokerage operations, with a solid understanding of the intricacies and nuances of the industry.
• Strong expertise in risk control and anti-money laundering practices, ensuring operational compliance and security.
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Knowledge of HK & US equities and markets are required.
